Without warning, the haze enveloped Singapore just a couple of days ago, since 17th June 2013. As one can see in the picture, there is a fine mist of dust and burnt particles no matter where one goes - it's everywhere. It had happened a couple of times before actually, following forest fires and burning in neighboring country Indonesia, but this time it's the worse - it's escalated to a hazardous level of 371 PSI already as of 20/6/2013.
Please try as much as you can to stay indoors, use air coolers, air purifiers and air conditions to ensure as little particle as possible comes into your home; if you need to travel out, please wear a mask.
I'm praying that the haze will quickly resolve, as it'd take more toll on individuals with weaker respiratory systems, such as the aged, children and the sick; and also praying for lots of torrential rain and winds to blow the haze away.
Take care stay healthy.
