I've been following Steve Pavlina on personal development since 2010, and many of his thoughts and thinking resonates with me, and his latest series is on passive income - what it is, how to to create it etc. That sparked me to stop and go deeper in depth about what I'm doing now and where I'm going.
I've decided to make the shift towards passive income. That means that I shift gears to focus on building systems that deliver value automatically to people, and it'd be a recognized social value with returns. Why do this is because I want to be able to serve more and more people doing or building a system one time, that will serve people for a long time, and earning me passive income - that simply makes more sense to me in every sense of the word, be it physically, financially, everything.
Going deeper, honestly, I don't want to have to do grunt work each day in order to ensure that our income levels don't drop, which is purely active income. I'd like our incomes to keep growing and flowing even though we're not actively working. I've three main projects that I'm working on at this point in time:
Generally, Urbanrehab is the main and biggest income earner, so I will continue to build it up and convert more active income to passive income. I will likely sell off the business in 3-5 years time once it grows to 5 or more clinics, and I'd like to focus my other publishing businesses.
What about you? What is your plans? Are you working now? Passive or active income? Share your story here.
For those looking for an additional source of income, I used Site Build It! to build Urban-Rehab.org and that website has grown for us about $20,400.00 so far in the past 12 months, selling physiotherapy and hand therapy services. I built the website once, and enquiries are still coming in - if you have a business that can do with extra help marketing your services, I'll urge you to consider Site Build It!
You can read my Site Build It! review here, or see my personal SBI Walkthrough here. Or if you want to make some money selling other people's products or services (you call that affiliate marketing, you can do that too like what I'm doing with NigelChua.com and XtendHealthAsia.com).
