All of a sudden and out of the blue, when I accessed the wp-admin page of one my WordPress sites, I was shown this page:
No matter how I tried to refresh the page, I just couldn't access my wp-admin page, and a simple google search showed that all I needed to do was:
I tried to do that, but failed to find mode security on my cpanel. I dived into google again, and found out that although disabling mode security will allow me to easily access my wp-admin again, that is not a good move as mode security's function...is to provide security - disabling it entirely isn't the best option.
That's like taking and using a shotgun to kill an ant.
So google searching again says to ask the webhosting team, and I simply asked my web host support (Bluehost) to help, and after validating me - it took less than 3 minutes to resolve.
Done.
Hmm...I've never had such issues with my Solo Build It sites, and this is a small nudge in my recent thinking of porting NigelChua.com over to be hosted and managed entirely by SBI. It does make my life muuuuuuuuuch easier with close to zero technicalities (unless I am ready and/or want to).
