Learning To Stay Silent, Listen And Learn

I am learning to stay silent and observe more first, before making a move. I realize that often, stopping to listen and observe and waiting in a fair timeline often yields results are okay.

I used to want to "get things done" and do everything within my power, energy and attention to get what I want, there and then...but as I experience more and more of the world, I am getting increasingly aware how it's always better to listen and observe first before making a move.

Maybe it's how I'm observing people around me making snap decisions and reactions that are utterly stupid, or if it's me just recalling and reminiscing my past and how I've been making stupid snap decisions - I don't know.

Whatever it is, I have been benefitting from just slowing down, taking time out to observe, listen, pray and wait - things often work themselves out, which is interesting.
