I had Rakuten sending me a cheque that's dated 15th January 2018, but I didn't have time to check it (2 young kids keep me plenty busy), and when I finally can check it, I did a double take on the earlier Rakuten cheque that bounced (because I'm an idiot - the cheque had an expiry of 6 months/180 days to bank in and yet I still missed the date).
Cheque #1: $37.8
The first cheque...that I missed the expiry.
Cheque #2/cheque that was resent when the first one expired
(And yes, I wasn't wearing a shirt. And yes, that is my messy hall/dining area)
I didn't think much of the amount differences initially, I just thought I'd snap a quick picture then upload to show that my cheque was resent...but I had a sudden thought to check the amounts.
Lo and behold, there was an increase from $37.80 to $52.36 (+$14.56).
I checked into my Rakuten affiliate account and sure enough, there was additional Aquasana water filter sales in there - it's a small but nice bonus in my opinion =D
