2016 September Passive Income Report

Every month I try my best to compile all the income and expenses that I occur in my pursuit of building and living the passive income lifestyle and please understand that I didn’t get to where I am overnight or through miracles – it is an ongoing progress, and has been a long road filled with lots of hustle and my fair share of mistakes.

And yet, through persistence and passion and continuous focus for progress, I’m slowly and surely building something amazing for myself, my family, for you to learn here in NigelChua.com

PASSIVE INCOME INTERNET BUSINESSES (PIIB): USD 93.82

Income

Expenses

If you realized, this month my expenses changed a little as I decreased my Site Build It membership for one of my online business sites so it dropped from $25 to change to Wealthy Affiliate which is $29.90 per month, a slight increase. The reason for this is two-fold: I wanted to learn how to properly build online businesses with WordPress (which is what WA is about) and I do have sites with Site Build It which tend to be great monster niche/authority but professional sites (my physiotherapy business).

Also, my online income is still going steady but there’s so much more to do and learn. I have been documenting my online sales transactions and affiliate payouts notifications, but I fear that as the number of sales transactions go up, I may not be able to give such granular and detailed information, and will have to resort to month end total reporting (instead of posting the notifications up as and when I receive) but I will try my best still for now.

PASSIVE INCOME INVESTING (PII): SGD 1395.50

  • OUE Hospitality Trust SGD 92.00
  • OUE Commercial REIT SGD 38.00
  • OUE Commercial REIT SGD 36.00
  • OUE Commercial REIT SGD 60.00
  • Asian Pay TV SGD 243.75
  • Croesus Retail Trust SGD 925.75

It’s a nice month of dividends, and always look forward to receiving dividends from the dividend stocks that I’ve been investing over time with. This is the most passive form of investing in a sense that once you’ve researched which dividend stocks are stable and reliable, invest in them consistently and reap the dividends over time (here in Singapore, it’s linked to my personal bank account so the dividends are wired directly into my bank account).

CONCLUSION

This month both my internet business and dividends have a payout - it's always nice when I make money especially when I serve others well and have selected a good dividend company to invest in.
