I am still struggling a little to put together all the details in the passive income reports, because not only are the information in separate locations, but also as I’m running and managing a full time business as well as my family, it was all a little difficult to handle, and I was basically fire-fighting until now.
The only difference so far that helps me progress step by step, is the conscious decision and action to wake up daily at 5 am – this has made all the difference to me.
So now when you go to the Passive Income Report page, you will see that I’ve included the links to the individual months, and on the page itself, you will see two general passive income amounts by months:
- Passive Income Internet Businesses (PIIB) – nett earnings after deducting expenses
- Passive Income Investing (PII) – dividends
When you click on the individual monthly reporting eg 2016 July Passive Income Report, you can see more granularity/details on where the income is derived from, what are the expenses, what are the dividends and where they come from.
It’s still not as fully detailed as I’d like it to be, but it’s a good start. One of my gripes of the dividend income reporting is that I wanted to show the percentage (%) return on investment (ROI) on a month to month and year to year, but the report that I get at the end of the month only shows the latest market price instead of showing the price that I bought the shares, and so the ROI reflected will not be the true representation of the Distribution Per Unit based on the share price I bought…so I decided that I will just indicate the net dividend amount – sorry =(
